Michaela Maxi Schulz – „Reflexion, Nachhaltigkeit, Perspektive“

Michaela Maxi Schulz has worked at Bühne für Menschenrechte since 2016 and has been on the board since 2022. With her residency "Reflection, Sustainability, Perspective" Michaela wants to explore new perspectives for the association. The residency allows her to take the time and space to explore new artistic formats and gather ideas for a resource-saving organisational structure.

Michaela Maxi Schulz born 1985 in Berlin, is a white abled cis woman. Her pronouns are she/her. She works as a freelance performer, actress and project manager in the performing arts in Berlin. In 2012 she successfully completed her acting studies at the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg. Her projects often combine the themes:feminism, ableism and critical whiteness. Her work is composed of artistic, performative and political formats. She works as a volunteer death and grief counsellor and is part of the "mad and disability Pride Parade Berlin", an alliance of people with and without disability and/or mental health issues. In 2018, she completed the Dance Intensive Programme at Tanzfabrik Berlin, a ten-month contemporary dance training course. Since 2016, she has worked at Bühne für Menschenrechte as both an actress and project manager and has been on the board since 2022.
