Throughout her residency, Brückner deepened her investigation into how food and communal dining intersect with politics and culture. Simultaneously, she expanded her ongoing project of corresponding with political prisoners worldwide to gather "recipes of freedom".
Belia Zanna Geetha Brückner studied time-based media at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg and at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her works typically emerge in dialogue with a counterpart, whether it be a government agency or an anonymous individual whom she interviews. Her works have been awarded the Karl H. Ditze Prize and the Max Ernst Scholarship and have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Hamburg (2023), Prague (2023), London (2023) and Berlin (2024). Since 2025 she is a partcipant of BPA.
