Stay and Prices
Libken is an open space for thinking and production, with eleven small and larger apartments, a communal kitchen, and two multifunctional rooms. All guests also have access to our library and the spacious garden, which includes a covered outdoor work area as well as mobile seating and work options—an ideal place to work, reflect, or find inspiration.
We welcome everyone who has their own project, whether artistic, academic, activist, or something entirely different. Residencies are possible from a minimum of two weeks.
Individual residencies preferably start on the 1st or 16th day of the month. Groups of four or more can, depending on availability, also book shorter stays.
The building itself is an old prefabricated concrete structure that has been partially renovated, for example apartments 1 and 2. Thanks to a grant, we were able to renovate the third wing more extensively. As a result, our apartments vary in standard, but each offers plenty of charm and character. They are furnished in a minimalist way—intentionally sparse—to leave room for personal projects and allow creativity to unfold freely.
If the stay is financially difficult for you, please feel free to contact us. We will then check whether we can offer a reduced rate, depending on our capacities.

Multipurpose Rooms
Waterworks
The former waterworks is a bright, open space of 60 sqm with a wooden floor and large windows overlooking the fields. It provides ample space for groups, workshops, yoga, project days, or individuals who want to work undisturbed.
Booking: from €40 per day, for groups €10 per person per day.
If the room is not booked, it can be used flexibly in coordination with guest care.
Seminar Room
The seminar room is 30 sqm, equipped with tables, chairs, and a kitchenette. It is ideal for workshops, meetings, or smaller groups.

Facilities
Both rooms can be equipped as needed with a projector, screen, speakers, flipchart, and additional tables and chairs.
Common Areas
Our common areas offer plenty of space for exchange, quiet, and creative work.
The shared kitchen is a lively everyday meeting point—ideal for cooking together, conversations, or short breaks. For groups, the kitchen can also be booked for exclusive use (€70 per day).
The library invites focused work, reading, and research.
For craft or creative projects, a wood workshop and a ceramics workshop are available, where you can experiment with your own ideas.
The sauna and outdoor kitchen complement communal life and provide opportunities to relax and connect with others.
Outdoor Areas
The extensive garden invites you to work, relax, and connect. Under fruit and walnut trees, there are sunny and shaded spots as well as covered outdoor work areas.
The entire grounds are equipped with internet, making it easy to work outdoors.
From here, the view opens up to the fields, and a lake is within walking distance. In the evening, the barbecue and fire pit can be used—a lovely setting to end the day together.
Bicycles are available for rent, and the garages can also be used temporarily as a studio or workspace—flexibly depending on the project.

€35 per person per night in twin rooms
€45 per person per night in single rooms
Children with their own bed: €15/night
Included: use of the shared kitchen and an adjoining common room
Exclusive accommodation in single rooms is available for an additional charge.
Half or full board can be arranged on-site; we are happy to connect you with cooks.

Cancellation Policy
Up to 2 months before the start of the stay: 30% of the total price
14 to 8 days before the start of the stay: 50% of the total price
From 7 days before the start of the stay: at least 50% of the total price, or 100% if no replacement can be found.
As last-minute cancellations usually cannot be rebooked, we decide on a case-by-case basis whether an alternative allocation is possible.
