In Dialogue – Right-Wing Violence in the Uckermark | Panel Discussion and Short Film Program

Across Germany, incidents of right-wing violence are increasingly being reported. As a residency space in the Uckermark, we have been engaging with this issue for some time, both in light of threatening events and in view of the upcoming elections in Brandenburg. We want to exchange ideas and engage in conversation with you. Guests will include representatives from “Demos – Brandenburgisches Institut für Gemeinwesenberatung” and “Opferperspektive.” In a public panel discussion, both initiatives will present their approaches and specific counseling services, with a focus on the Uckermark region. Afterwards, there will be time for questions and exchange.

After a break, starting at 7:30 PM, a one-hour short film program by “dokART on Tour,” the mobile offshoot of the European Film Festival in Neubrandenburg, will be screened. Both parts of the event can also be attended independently.
